I'm Alex!
I’m here to help make sure getting your wedding invitations is as much fun as picking out your cake! I’ve been through this process myself - that’s why I started designing wedding invitations myself! - and I know how overwhelming it can seem. But it doesn’t have to be stressful or feel like work.
I’m the one you can turn to when you’re over looking at all the mass-produced design any bride can have, and instead are ready for modern, colorful wedding invitations, envelope calligraphy, and day-of details that are custom designed to be the perfect fit for your wedding.
With a BFA in Graphic Design and over ten years of printing and project management experience behind me (not to mention four years of calligraphy!), I’m a paper-loving, color-obsessed designer who approaches the invitation design process with a timeline in one hand, a brush pen in the other, and a good sense of humor!
I’ll make sure your invitations (and most importantly, YOU!) stand out, wow your guests, and are the perfect keepsake from one of the happiest days of your life.

A little More About Me…
My name's Alex, and I run alexandra em., a lettering + design studio based in Dallas, TX.
I was born in Nebraska, grew up in Iowa, and spent a few years each in Indiana, Illinois (Chicago!), and Virginia before deciding I'd had enough cold weather and packed my bags for Dallas. Thank goodness I did, because no sooner had I finished decorating my apartment, then Mr. Right came along. We got married a year and a half later and couldn't be happier! He is my favorite human, greatest love, and best friend. And it doesn't hurt that he shares my love of sugar and dogs!
We love to travel and can usually be found planning our next getaway. You’ll typically find us on a beach somewhere, margarita in hand!
Most evenings, you can find me hanging out with my better half and our pups, ghost-lettering with my finger on various surfaces, and enjoying a nice glass of wine. I can't wait to get to know you better!
